(Almost) Blues Brothers

It was a special night at the MCG as we took down the Cats for the first time since 2016, and got our first win over a reigning Premier in 13 years.

Join Joe, Jules and Dan as we discuss, analyse and dissect this club's biggest win in a decade. We got a full review of the Round 2 win, a preview of our upcoming clash with GWS, and the return of some of your favourite segments from years gone by - Book of Judd, Cassano's Calcs and Pov Predicts are all BACK!

Excuse the technical difficulties... even after 83 episodes, we're still amateurs in this caper.

The stress and chaos from Thursday has carried over to the pod, with Joe in all sorts because of Dan's technical issues again (shock...)

Join us as we dissect where it went wrong in the rare season opening draw from Round 1, what needs improving and what impressed us from our first hitout from the season. PLUS, the return of Around the Grounds, Pov Predicts and, more importantly, Livvy's Last Word!

Footy's back. Pod is back. Let's get into it!

This is it - the 2023 AFL Season is finally upon us. It's been a long off-season and it's felt like an eternity since Jamie Elliott strolled into an open goal in Round 23, but the wait is over and the Blues are BACK, BABY!

We have a huge show this week. Joe and Dan give their full season predictions for Top 8, Brownlow, Coleman Medalist and more in the first half, with Marcus and Quinn from the Pressure Point Podcast joining in the second half to Preview the traditional season opener this Thursday night.

In the words of Charlie Sheen - we'll be drinking Tiger blood on Thursday night. Bring it on!

It only took us 80 episodes and over 2 years of recording this podcast, but FINALLY we are mic'd up (yes, with real mics!)

Join Joe, Jules and Dan as they break new technological ground, review the lacklustre Swans practice match and answer your Blues Q's.

Just remember, we're not the most tech savvy bunch, so give us some time to get used to this huge change... especially Dan.

The Blues are back, and even though it was just match sim, it's always good to get a W at our spiritual home against the filth.

Join us as we discuss the learnings from last week's practice match and preview the final dress rehearsal against the Swans this coming Friday.

Massive shout out to Willem Bouw @works_of_willem for the new intro and video package. Hit him up for all your socials video promotion needs!

After a couple of false starts, poddy is finally BACK for 2023, baby!

In the 2023 Season Premiere and our YouTube debut on the Blue Abroad YouTube channel, Joe, Jules and Dan bring you their thoughts from the off-season, expectations for the year ahead from the Carlton Football Club, and a preview of this week's practice match vs. the Filth.

It's really good to be back.

Christmas has come a couple of weeks early - the 2023 AFL Fixture dropping means an impromptu podcast episode is in order!

Joe is joined by @PommyInOz as they look at the year ahead for the Blues and give their initial thoughts on what the Fixture is going to bring in 2023.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all of the Bluebaggers out there!

It's been a big year in footy, a big year for the Blues, and a big year for this pod. There was no other way we could round out (A)BB for 2022 than by stepping inside the inner sanctum with Will Hayes.

Come join us in the poddy season finale as we discuss Will's football journey that led him to the Blues in 2022, the changing culture that he witnessed and helped foster at the Club, his debut in Navy Blue, his admiration for Michael Voss and his coaching staff and everything Carlton in between... and yes, there's a full slate of racing tips for the upcoming Melbourne Cup Carnival.

A big thank you to the 20k+ that have tuned in to the poddy in 2022. We'll be back in 2023, and we'll be back bigger and better than ever. We're only just getting started.

Until next year, UTB and GBs!

We reckon this ep goes alright... Connor Rogers joins us for Episode 75!

Two halves this week. It's Joe & Dan in the first half, discussing their recent golf hitout (Dan finally agreed to go the driving range) and answering all of your Blues Q's, including which DFAs the would best fit the Blues' list profile. Joe & Jules bring it home in the second half with Connor, as passionate a Bluebagger as any of us, as we delve into everything podcasting, his favourite 'Goes Alright' guests and moments, and his thoughts on the Blues' prospects in 2023 and beyond.

Off-season? Not on this pod. Come get it.

One man in, one man out. Joe's back. Dan's away. Jules is still here.

Joe and Jules are joined by two guests this week - Jono Baruch from The Inner Sanctum and Paolo Sebastiani from SEN Overnights & The Jumper Punch. A pod of two halves, filled with trade talk, list management decision discussions, the inside word on Trade & Draft news and, as always, everything Carlton.

Big guests, big show. Let's get into it.
