Join us in this special chat with 1987 Premiership hero and Norm Smith Medallist, David Rhys-Jones, as part of his 2023 15 For 15 Challenge raising awareness for Prader-Willi Syndrome.
We cover some of the highlights and lowlights of The Hyphen's storied career, from his scintillating debut at South Melbourne to his 1987 Premiership heroics, as well as his infamy as the VFL/AFL most reported player of all time and the Battle of Britain.
David Rhys-Jones has high hopes that this year’s 15 Career Highlights (and Lowlights) in 15 Days challenge will raise much needed funds, and in 2023, every person who donates to his challenge - no matter how big or small - will go into the draw to win a “VIP Day at the Footy” (for you and three friends) as a guest of the AFL in the Medallion Club for any 2023 AFL Home and Away Season match.
The money raised from this year’s challenge will be directed towards developing a desperately needed state-wide, evidence-based model of care for children living with Prader-Willi Syndrome. This model will ensure that children throughout the state receive consistent, effective and best medical care, treatments and support no matter where they live.
