This week we talk about Bigfoot in Vermont otherwise known as the Green Mountain State. Vermont is one of the smallest states in the Union but it is incredibly wooded. At 4.5 million acres of forested land and about 78% of the state, it's no doubt Sasquatch have been reported in Vermont for hundreds of years. we'll start by going over some of the more well known encounters and then dive into a book by Jason Lorefice called Vermont Bigfoot Encounters and Beyond, where we find some pretty interesting information even I didn't know about.

As winter firmly wraps it's icy fingers around us, I thought it would be more than appropriate to dive into three first hand encounters that deal with one of cryptozoologies most misunderstood entities....the Wendigo.So this week, as we come back from our hiatus, we kick the new year off with three incredibly chilling stories. The first deals with a hunter, who is in turn, hunted by the creature, while hunting deer in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The second is a story about a stranded snowmobiler who comes face to face with something he had heard about since childhood and the last story deals with a young man, coming home for winter break only to find that his parents have captured something and are holding it captive in the family barn.

After hearing from friend of the show, Thom Pollard, and being told about an abandoned campsite found not too far from me, in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, I decided to cover two Missing 411 cases that have fascinated me for 15 years.

Our first case takes place in Washington State and involves a climber who seemingly disappeared from the end of a climbing rope, almost as though he unclipped and stepped out into the sky.

The second case involves a climber in California who vanished in broad daylight from the middle of an empty snow field on one of America's most mysterious Mountains.

So our guest tonight has hunted a family plot for years and on this particular year, he and his daughter came face to face with a beast, they could only describe as Bigfoot. They then ran for their lives, out of this area locally known as 'the Gulf' and back to the safety of their camp.

This is an incredible Sasquatch encounter that takes place at a hunting camp! So this year, while your at camp or sitting in your stand and you hear a branch snap or something, quietly, walking through the leaves below you, just tell yourself that its probably nothing......

Except this time, she had a front row seat, sitting just in front of the woman's room. Now, she wasn't a nurse, but she did witness some very strange activity coming from the room, activities that would suggest the woman was possessed....
