"Almost Famous" is a 2000 coming-of-age film directed by Cameron Crowe. Set in the early 1970s, it tells the story of William Miller, a 15-year-old aspiring music journalist who gets the chance of a lifetime to go on tour with the fictional band Stillwater for Rolling Stone magazine.
