Smartphones have taken over the consumer stills and home video camera markets, and now are also increasingly being used on high-end professional jobs. Sometimes as an insert camera or for a speciality shot, and sometimes even as the main camera. There's no question that today smartphones can shoot great looking, pro quality video. So why then are some filmmakers afraid of them?

New Zealand filmmaker Stef Harris shot a feature film called "Blue Moon" in only 6 days for $12,000 (NZ dollars) using an iPhone. In this episode Blake talks with the cast & crew about the project and whether or not shooting with a smartphone was a plus or a minus or maybe both.

No one cares what kind of camera you use. They care about the movie (or video or commercial or whatever) you make with it.
