From strangers to sorority sisters, we explore the impact our multicultural sorority experiences had on us while exploring our thoughts on fraternity and sorority life as a whole. Through understanding the historical context of sorority life and how stereotypes shape membership, we discuss our motives for joining and if those stereotypes hold truth. Would we do it again? Recorded right after the summer solstice, we take a look into what this new season of life means. As working professionals, we are entering into a new phase where “summer vacation” is no longer marked by the countdown to the last day of school. Listen along as we reminisce on the summers of our youth and how we intend to enjoy this magical season as the years go on.

We explore the concept of home while reminiscing on our trip to Columbia, Missouri for a college roommate reunion. Although we found each other during a coming-of-age moment, the foundation we built has led to “adult conversations” and the ability to grow with each other while evolving as individuals. Join us as we reflect on the end of this chapter while celebrating the characters who will stay with us for the stories to come. Navigating post-grad life has many challenges, but we found a little hope in pickleball. In this episode, we chat about how we discovered a sense of community through a suburban paddleball sport, explore what hobbies look like, and begin to expand on who we are outside of being a student.
