For me this casual conversation was truly eye opening.  I never really looked at the importance of penance to the advent season. It was my plan to release this episode in December, but the message is just too important. I hope and pray that you will get out of this episode as much as I did. On May 28th2022, Men of the Knights of Columbus from Connecticut put on an “In to the Breach” day of reflection for the men of Whitechurch in County Cork Ireland. The day was an early one for the men from Connecticut, but it was rewarding, being able to serve our brothers in Christ across the Atlantic Ocean. In this episode Fr. Gabriel Burke (one of the day of reflection organizers) joins me to discuss the importance of men’s group today.

My guest in this episode is Fr. David Michael Moses. I have been following him on Facebook for a while for the simple fact that he is so joyful. In fact his joy is so infectious that it reminds me to find joy in my own life.  Recently Father David Michael has been transferred to a new parish. Father took graciously took some time out of his busy schedule to share his expectations of his new assignment and more all the while sharing the joy that make him such a wonderful priest.

Being a man in this day and age certainly has its challenges, especially as real role models of the faith become harder and harder to find. Fortunately there is a group that exists and it is bringing both young and old together to mentor each other. I have known about this group for quite some time and to day I get to have a casual conversation with its founder Mark Houck. Mark is the founder of the Kings Men.
