Did you know I was a Special Education teacher back in the day? I don't talk about it much because it was a rough experience. Maybe it was hard because I didn't have a degree in SPED or Education? Or maybe it was the fact that I only to 6 weeks of classroom training? Or maybe it was the caseload twice what it should have been?

When we blindly react to our children's emotions and "solve the problem" without the entire story we're teaching them to be victims! Parents need to teach their children the importance of telling the whole story and get to the bottom of a situation before reacting emotionally themselves.
