Our God always looks, searches and seeks deeply into our hearts, even when our outer appearance seems perfectly fine and we think we can hide our deepest desires from others, but we cannot hide it from God. Continuing the topic, in this week's sermon titled "Matters of the Heart - Part 2", Ps. Heath Flanagan shares to us that we need to be accountable in front of God and with each other, as well as the seriousness of having self control. There are three outlines in the sermon that we will listen together, they are: A Look, A Pluck and A Break. Starting from early age, we are being taught in our education system to behave in right manners and to act prudently. However, can we always control ourselves to behave that way? Have we ever failed in doing so? For sure, we all cannot do it by ourselves, self control is a fruit of Holy Spirit which means what we need to do just to obey and surrender ourselves to Holy Spirit guidance. Therefore, like this verses of a song, we should always be humble, think of Him in our daily lives and ask for His empowerment in our lives. I won't pretend I've figured it out... Teach me Lord, what I should know Lead me Lord, where I should go Show Me God, what I should do 'Cause I want to worship You, In spirit and truth Jesus loves you all! #onlineservice #sundayservice #matterofhearts #adultery #selfcontrol #forgiveness #healing #holyspirit #addiction
