Many of us are under the perception that when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we can just 'relax' in our salvation. The purpose of salvation is for us to be conformed into the image of Christ. The reason we are 'saved' is so we can replicate God's image in the earth and take territory for the kingdom. However, to truly understand why some suffering is necessary, one must be educated on 'wholeness'. The reason why some people end up leaving the faith is because they aren't educated on the process of being made whole. Being that we are all born into a 'messed up world' with a 'messed up' nature, we require a total makeover and reprogramming. We must learn how to be like God, the One who created us. However, this 'learning' is brought about through 'divine refining' processes that produce the image of Christ in us. As we are made whole through these 'divine refining' processes, we become more powerful, joyful, enduring, faithful, loving and forgiving. We become... like God. This message will shed some light on how these processes work from Heaven's perspective and why we must learn to embrace the process.
