Russell Rhoads looks at the Alphabet (GOOGL) vs Nvidia (NVDA) AI chip story, noting that most of Nvidia’s revenue comes from only around 5 companies, so any of them changing or adding vendors could threaten it. “Barring a very negative day tomorrow…the S&P 500 is going to be up about 15% year-to-date,” he notes, and historically, “we’ve got about an 80% chance” of ending the year higher. However, Russell thinks that Black Friday could disappoint retailers.
