'Is it necessary for God's name to be written on the heart in order to qualify as being a Zakir-e-Qalbi?' Sayyidi Younus AlGohar answers a viewer's question in this video.  Summary:   - There are three grades of Zikar-e-Qalb (Heart Activation)   1. Sahib-e-Zikar. The minimum requirement for recognition in the eyes of God is for the invocation of God's name be synchronised within the heartbeats. This has to be involuntary. There is a daily limit set by God for how much your heart can invoke his name. Once it reaches the daily quota, it falls silent.    'My eyes sleep but my heart does not sleep.' - Prophetic Tradition  'They remember God while they sit, stand and toss and turn in their beds.' - Koran 3:191   2. Sahib-e-Tassawur. The second grade is when a disciple is granted by his Spiritual Guide to visualise God's name upon his heart. This produces more divine energy than simply engaging in Zikar.   3. Sahib-e-Ism. The topmost grade of Zikar-e-Qalb is when God grants a person his name. There is a lot of protocol involved. This grade is not granted to everybody.   'There are some people upon whose hearts faith has been written. And we have helped their souls with our right hand.' - Koran 58:22

Sayyidi Younus AlGohar elaborates on the different stages of the Spiritual Heart and the Lower Self at the request of a viewer.  Summary:      - The states of the Nafs (Lower Self) and the Qalb (Spiritual Heart) run parallel. If the state of the Spiritual Heart changes, then the state of the Lower Self will change automatically.      - When you obtain the Zikar-e-Qalb (Opening of the Spiritual Heart) the state of the Spiritual Heart changes from Snobar (Senseless) to Saleem (Secured). The name of God is implanted in the heartbeats, generating divine energy that spreads throughout the body. When the divine energy reaches the Lower Self, it changes from Ammarah (The Commanding Self) to Lawamma (The Blameworthy Self).      - The Lower Self will only become Mulhima (The Inspired Self) when the Spiritual Guide forces it to recite the Kalima (Motto of Faith). This is the stage when the Spiritual Heart becomes Muneeb (Turned Towards God). This is the culmination for a Devout Believer.      - Nafs-e-Ammarah (The Commanding Self) resembles a dog in appearance. Nafs-e-Lawamma (The Blameworthy Self) resembles a bull or a horse depending on the nature of the Lower Self. Nafs-e-Mulhima (The Inspired Self) resembles a goat.       - When Abraham was sacrificing Isaac to God, he sacrificed the Lower Self of Isaac which resembled a goat. This is why we sacrifice goats on Eid ul Adha.   The Lower Self only becomes Mutmaina (Contented Self) when God wishes to turn you into a saint. He sends his theophanies upon your Spiritual Heart; those same theophanies transform the Lower Self. The Lower Self takes on your form and your Spiritual Heart takes on the form of your Spiritual Guide.

'What is the reality of Noor (divine energy), Neki (good deeds) and Gunah (sins)? What is their relation to one another?' - Yasir Khan, an ALRA TV Viewer  Summary:      - Noor is divine energy. There are two types of divine energy: the divine energy relating to God's individuality (Zaati Noor) and the divine energy relating to God's attributes (Sifati Noor). You recite the Koran but you don't know the method of producing divine energy from it, therefore you are divided into sects.       - Just as you have to produce electricity via hydroelectric dams or kinetic energy; just as two clouds have to collide to create lightening or two stones have to strike together to produce a spark; similarly, HDE Gohar Shahi declares that to generate divine energy, the name of God has to strike against itself.      - To awaken your souls, you need divine energy. Divine energy is the diet of souls. You can get divine energy either through the spiritual concentration of your Spiritual Guide (this is from the Station of Haqiqat) or by engaging in the invocation of God's name  (Zikar, which is from the Station of Tariqat).   'Make mention of me and I will make mention of you.' - Koran 2:152      - When you engage in the invocation of God's name and start producing divine energy, it begins to head towards God. Then God sends divine energy towards you. When the two meet, the Habl Allah (Divine Rope) is formed.      - When you have the Opening of the Spiritual Heart (Zikar-e-Qalb), divine energy will be constantly generated. It will circulate your body through your blood, awakening and enlightening your souls.  Sirat-e-Mutaqeem (The Straight Path) goes directly to God and it runs on divine energy.      - By performing good deeds, you will be rewarded on the Day of Judgement. However, you will not obtain God. On the path of divine energy, you don't have to wait for the Day of Judgement; God rewards you here in this world by granting you his friendship and proximity.  'There are some [Devout Believers] whose hearts have faith written upon them.' - Koran 58:22 'O' Kaaba, you are great. But I swear to God, the heart of a Devout Believer is far greater than you.' - Prophetic Tradition  'If God's name enters your heart, every heartbeat is like a full circumambulation of the Great Hajj.' - Mevlana Rumi

Sayyidi Younus AlGohar answers a viewer's question, 'How do we free ourselves of grudges and enmity?'  Summary:     - Bughz in Suryani means to keep anger within while appearing to behave sweetly on the outside. Inad means enmity. These evil ailments are based on negative energy; the more you have them the more you destroy your spirits of the chest.  'One who has even the tiniest amount of arrogance in his heart is not worthy of entering paradise.' - Prophetic Tradition      - The Koran says that it is a remedy for the Devout Believers but we don't know how to use it to heal ourselves.   'Black Seed (Kalonji) is a remedy to all ailments except for death itself.' - Prophetic Tradition      - People may have black seeds at home but they don't know how to use it to treat their illnesses. Only people blessed by God with the knowledge of Hikmat (holistic medicine) know how to use it effectively.  'There is a polish for everything that tarnishes. The polish of the heart is invocation (Zikar) of God's name.' - Prophetic Tradition  'Salat stops you from committing bad deeds and immoral acts.' - Koran 29:45     - People engage in invocation verbally but the vices in their hearts do not go away. They offer Salat but it does not stop them from bad deeds and immorality. This is because they don't know how to use them properly.       - When God's name is invoked uninterruptedly, it strikes against itself 101 times, then it begins to produce divine energy (Noor).      - We started the practice of having three Imams reciting the verses of the Koran uninterrupted, their voices overlapping 9Tarteel). This is how divine energy is produced from the verses of the Koran.  You will be free from the evil vices like grudges, enmity and arrogance when divine energy enters your heart and souls and negative energy is eliminated. This is only possible with a Spiritual Guide who cleanses your heart of the negative vices with his Spiritual Concentration and sows the seed of the Personal Name of God in the soil of your heart.

Is Zikar-e-Qalb permanent or intermittent? Sayyidi Younus AlGohar answers.  Summary:  - God has allotted a specific number of invocation for the heart of a Zakir-e-Qalbi. The heart will fulfil the number and then it will fall silent. It cannot exceed its limit set by God.  - Even the heart of someone with a daily allotment of 125 000 invocation falls silent at some point too.  - If you want extra divine energy on top of the daily allotment for your heart, then you need to obtain it from spiritual personalities like Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), Ghous Pak and Imam Mehdi.  - When the heart is revived, it will engage in the invocation of God’s name daily but it will fall silent. It does not stay in constant invocation 24/7.

Sayyidi Younus AlGohar answers a question from a viewer who was worried that his heart was not engaged in the invocation of God’s name.  Summary:  - His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi’s purpose for coming into the world is to connect the aspiring hearts with God. He is taking humanity to God purely for the sake of God and his Rapturous Love.  - God tests you on the spiritual path. He tests some people initially when they are granted Zikar-e-Qalb (The Opening of the Spiritual Heart) and he tests some later.   - Greater than Zikar-e-Qalb is being associated with His Divine Eminence Gohar Shahi (Nisbat-e-Gohar Shahi) and loving Him.  - A saint will hear the invocation of God’s name in their heart. A Devout Believer (Momin) will simply feel it.  - When Sayyidi Younus AlGohar obtained Zikar-e-Qalb from HDE Gohar Shahi, he heard the invocation of God’s name immediately from within him, saw the Prophet’s Mosque travelling with him and noticed that everything he touched would begin to invoke God’s name. This was a demonstration of unshakeable trust in HDE Gohar Shahi (Yaqeen) being granted.  - There are two ways you can travel the path leading to God: either through your own efforts (with Zikar-e-Qalb) or through the spiritual concentration of a grand spiritual personality.  - The ultimate goal is to revive and strengthen your souls - whether through Zikar-e-Qalb or through somebody’s spiritual concentration. Zikar-e-Qalb is but a means to cleanse you.  - The most important thing is to become associated with HDE Gohar Shahi.

Sayyidi Younus AlGohar explains what Zikar Allah (Invocation of God’s name) is at the request of a viewer.  Summary:  'The obligation of Zikar Allah comes before all other obligations.' - Prophetic Tradition  - Repeating God's name over and over is the invocation of God's name (Zikar). It is greater than Salat and it is the foremost obligation in the religion. Obligations are either temporary or eternal. Salat is a temporary obligation and Zikar is an eternal obligation.  God said in Koran 4:103 that you must stay engaged in God's invocation while sitting, standing and even sleeping.  A Prophetic Tradition states those who fail to fulfil the eternal obligation, their temporary obligations are not accepted either.   - There are many forms of worship but the invocation of God is God’s favourite. God particularly enjoys it when a human being in the Terrestrial Realm has engaged his heart in invocation of God’s name and the voice of his heart echoes in the Empyrean of God. When the sound of the invocation reaches up there but the one invoking upon God is unseen, the angels ask God, 'Whose voice is this?' God says smugly, 'This is the voice of the human being whom you refused to prostrate to.'  - Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) told a gathering of Companions including Umar-e-Farooq and Abu Bakr Siddiq, ‘When you see the Gardens of Paradise on Earth, enter and graze there.’ Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) explained that the Gardens of Paradise were the Zikar gatherings - and he advised them to participate in them. He said 'graze' because those whose inner faculties are not enlightened are known as animals in spiritual circles; however, divine energy would still enter them (but not settle there) when they sat in the Zikar gatherings. So this was one way that Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) was starting to give the Companions who were unenlightened spiritual knowledge.  One Prophetic Tradition states, 'Engage in God's invocation so passionately that when a hypocrite looks at you, he accuses you of showing off.'  'Engage in as passionate invocation of my name as you used to come here and praise your ancestors.' - Koran 2:200   - The Naqshbandi Sufi Order does not advise Zikar-e-Jehr, but there are many benefits to Zikar-e-Jehr. The veils of heedlessness are removed with Zikar-e-Jehr. The entire field of Zikar is linked to Sufism. People of every religions engage in invocation of God's name because Zikar is not confined to any religion - it is to do with God.   - Salat is a form of worship within the religion. No Prophetic Tradition says that the first question you will be asked on the Day of Judgement will be about your Salat.  'Neither your sons nor wealth shall benefit you on that Day. On that Day, only he shall be successful who brings with him a Secured Heart.' - Koran 26:88-89  The Koran 29:45 says, 'Salat stops you from committing bad deeds and immoral acts, whereas invocation of God's name is greater.'

Sayyidi Younus AlGohar explains how to tell the difference between Nafs-e-Ammarah (Commanding Self) and Nafs-e-Lawamma (Blameworthy Self) for the novices in spirituality.  Summary:  - The Commanding Self compels you to do bad. However, when you obtain the Opening of the Spiritual Heart with the Personal Name of God, then the Lower Self progresses from the Commanding Self to the Blameworthy Self. What changes is that your Lower Self will make you feel blameworthy after you commit a sin. You will feel regret and the desire to sin will be weakened, however, you will still sin.   - The Commanding Self is recognised by the fact that it becomes happy having committed a sin. If, rather than being happy, you feel bad having sinned, this is proof that your Lower Self is the Blameworthy Self. If you don't have the Commanding Self, then you are already halfway to salvation.  - Once your heart is awakened and divine energy enters the heart, you have to nature its growth by way of performing good deeds and worshipping. If you fail to do this, you will make slow progress in spirituality. The people who strictly follow the other requirements of the religion are the ones who obtain success on this path quickly.

Sayyidi Younus AlGohar answers a question from a viewer, ‘Who can practise Zikar-e-Qalb (Invocation of God’s Name in the Heart)?’   Summary:  According to a Prophetic Tradition, 'Zikar Allah is the foremost of all obligations.'  - Zikar is the first obligation and the First Pillar in Islam. There are two types of obligations: permanent obligations and temporary obligations. Zikar is a permanent obligation. Before Salat was brought down, all the Companions would do was Zikar.  A Prophetic Tradition states, 'Whosoever fails to fulfil his permanent obligations, God does not accept any temporary obligations he may have fulfilled.'  Koran 2:152 states,  'Practise my Zikar and I will practise yours.'  - If a Spiritual Guide stops you from practising the first Pillar of Islam, Zikar, then he is not a Spiritual Guide at all. He is a Devil. The Zikar you engage in will free you of the evil spirits and Jinns troubling you. If you have a Spiritual Guide but he forbids you from engaging in Zikar, leave him. In that same statement, Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) told them that even greater than distributing a mountain of gold for the sake of God was to engage in Zikar with the heart and Lower Self in God’s eyes. The engagement of Zikar by your heart and Lower Self will take you towards God.  - The heart is tarnished because when you sin, as a punishment, that sin is recorded in your Book of Deeds and at the same time, a black spot is placed upon your heart. With an abundance of sins, your heart becomes blackened - when that happens, no advice is effective on it. Neither the Koran nor Prophetic Traditions have any effect on it. That is when the Companions asked the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) how to cleanse the heart. That is when Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) said, ‘There is a means of polishing everything that tarnishes. The polish of the heart is Zikar Allah.’

Sayyidi Younus AlGohar explains the method of Zikar-e-Qalb (Opening of the Spiritual Heart) and its benefits.  Summary:  - It is your heart that practises Zikar-e-Qalb. You do not have access to your own heart therefore you cannot practise it with your own efforts. Zikar-e-Qalb is conferred upon you by God through your Spiritual Guide.  - During the initial period after the seed of God's name is implanted in the heart by the Spiritual Guide, you have to practice visualising God's name and synchronising the repetition of God's name along with your heartbeats. However, you only carry out this practice until your heart is revived. Then you don't have to do anything.  - If there is something wrong with your fleshy heart, you can't do anything yourself. You have to go to a surgeon who will operate on you and fix it. Similarly, Zikar-e-Qalb is a gift of God. The permission of this comes from God through your Spiritual Guide. Once God's name has entered into your heart, the heart thereafter engages itself in Zikar Allah involuntarily. The souls in you volunteer themselves in engagement of Zikar Allah. That is why their invocation continues even when you are sleeping.   - Initially, HDE Gohar Shahi advises the following method for Zikar-e-Qalb: before you go to sleep, practise synchronising God's name with your heartbeats (Zikar-e-Khafi). Visualise God's name inscribed on your heart. If you have trouble visualising God's name, visualise HDE Gohar Shahi holding your index finger and writing God's name with it upon your heart. You only need to do this for the first few days. After that, the heart engages in Zikar on its own.  - In order to come under the spiritual concentration of HDE Gohar Shahi, propagate the divine signs on the Moon, Sun and Holy Black Stone which bear the images of HDE Gohar Shahi. If you reject these divine signs after receiving Zikar-e-Qalb, then your Zikar will be terminated and you will be rejected by God (Mardood). It is not humanly possible to create such an image - the size of at least USA and Canada combined - on the Moon.
