We’re all guilty of seeking validation whether it’s from our parents, friends, significant other, co workers. Seeking the external validation doesn’t help us, it will 9/10 leave us in disappointment in ourselves and feel lost. Whatever we want to do or working on we ought to remind ourselves of our purpose to continue pursuing our goals, accept support and input but never rely on validation. It all starts with ourselves. In life we come across so many challenges, it’s part of it. What counts is what we do about them, we either let them kick us down or we keep getting better. Nothing in life is ever easy, trust your progress!

Often times we suppress our emotions to prevent being in our heads and overthinking though suppressing doesn’t do any help. Suppressing is another generational curse to be broken, we cannot go on pretending like nothing happened. Especially a traumatic experience. Do yourself a favor and service by not suppressing, express how you feel on your journal(should you have one) or therapist (should you have one) partner or close friend. We’re all in our own heads and we let that little voice in our heads sometimes get in our ways of achieving what we want. Most of those voices build from our surroundings, from family to acquaintances. This is the most brutally honest episode I’ve done thus far but I hope this helps you fight your own inner voice and prove it wrong.

We all have gone through these growing up and most likely still do therefore relate to this episode heavily. It’s our turn to break this cycle and be the best.
