Today I’m joined by Isaac Goldman.

Isaac is the National Accounts Manager and Internal Communication and Strategy Specialist at Eclipse Foods. Isaac has been at Eclipse Foods since June 2019, when he was the first full-time employee, and has served in a variety of interesting roles on the sales and operations side.

Isaac has been involved in food since the very beginning of his college career at Emory University in Atlanta, and he has great stories on how to break into the industry through hustle and a positive attitude.

Danielle is the Technical Business Development and R&D Strategy Manager for Upside Foods, where she works directly with the Chief Science Officer.

Danielle has been at Upside Foods since March 2016, and has served in a variety of interesting roles as the company has grown. We’ll hear more about her background and experience at Upside Foods throughout the episode.

Today I’m joined by Maia Keerie, a PR and Communications leader in the Alternative Protein Industry. Maia most recently served as the Senior PR and Communications Manager at TurtleTree, and she previously worked as a Media and Communications Manager at The Good Food Institute.

We’ll hear more about her interesting background and how she ended up breaking into the industry with GFI throughout the episode.

Mike has studied proteins for all of his adult life, and he’ll talk about how that passion led him to his PhD and eventually into the food space. It’s really a pleasure to have him on the show.

Today I’m joined by Jacek Prus. Jacek is the Senior Director of Development at Farmed Animal Funders. 

Before joining FAF earlier this year, Jacek was an entrepreneur in the Alternative Protein space. He founded Current Foods, which was acquired by Wicked Kitchen, and has a variety of interesting experiences with plant-based startups. We’ll hear more about his background throughout the episode.

Parendi Birdie, co-founder and CEO of Asentia, and early employee of Mission Barns and Eat Just, joins the podcast to share her experiences working in Alt Protein. Asentia is a new startup in the blended meat space.

Parendi splits her time between Texas and The Bay Area and has spent her entire career in Alternative Proteins and plant-based meat. We’ll hear more about her very interesting background and experience throughout the episode, as well as why she's excited about the opportunity in blended meat.

Today I’m joined by Dan Howell, who's an experienced Product Development and R&D Leader in the food space. Dan has done a variety of jobs in this space, and was most recently at Wicked Kitchen (acquired by Current Foods).
