Ladies and gentlemen... Tiger Woods is BACK. In the final event of the season, Tiger Woods put the exclamation point on a comeback season that will be talked about... forever. A year ago we were debating if Tiger would consider retiring. On Sunday we watched him defeat the 50 best players in the world, win the TOUR Championship, and ALMOST win the FedEx Cup. Incredible is the only word to describe it. With almost no time to rest, Tiger and the rest of the American & European players flew to France in preparation for the Ryder Cup this week at Le Golf National in France. The TOUR Championship is finally here... On Thursday the top 30 players in the FedEx Cup points will descend on East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, GA for the final event of the #PLAYOFFS (00:41). It's pretty much winner take all with $10 Million on the line in a controversial format that may be seeing some changes next year. Later this week the PGA Tour is announcing adjustments to the points structure (7:00) Nice to see the brass at the Tour listen to the pod... We'll discuss what's wrong with the TOUR Championship (28:55) and some ideas (35:20) on how to improve things moving forward. It took 5 days, but the BMW Championship is finally in the books. (00:35) The weather was so bad in Philadelphia that there was some debate as to whether the final round would even happen at all (12:23). Thankfully for Keegan Bradley it did(25:31) - as he outlasted newly minted world # 1 Justin Rose in a playoff for the victory... his first in 7 years. On the other side of the leaderboard was Jordan Spieth, (6:47) whose 55th place finish means he will miss the Tour Championship for the first time in his career. This week also saw the final captain's picks for the Ryder Cup (38:00) - Tony Finau for the Americans... Paul Casey, Sergio Garcia, Ian Poulter and Henrik Stenson for the Europeans. With 2 weeks to go till the Tour Championship, and 3 weeks till the Ryder Cup there's a lot to discuss... so lets get into it!

The first round of the FedEx Cup #PLAYOFFS got off to a pretty decent start. Despite missing a few key players, the looming Ryder Cup captain's picks made for a much more exciting Northern Trust Open (18:00) this year. Bryson DeChambeau took full advantage - winning his second event of the year and all but locking up a ticket to Paris. The 2018 PGA Tour regular season is in the books... now its time for the Playoffs. Last week's Wyndham Championship (33:14) was final event of the season, and while it lacked star power it was exciting nonetheless - Brandt Snedeker shot 59 on Thursday which set up a Sunday showdown with CT Pan, who was possibly one cart path away (39:12) from the W... This week we kick off the FedEx Cup (55:46) in Ridgewood, NJ at the Northern Trust. The Open Championship is in the books, and so is the 2018 Skull & Crossed Championship! Mike, Matt, Dave, and Friend of the Pod Cullen break down all the action from Carnoustie and Pinehurst. (1:38)A fast and hard Carnoustie delivered some fireworks this weekend - with weekend charges from Rose, Spieth, and Tiger Woods. It was vintage Tiger on the weekend - but a rowdy fan (24:58) and a missed putt left the door open for San Francisco Molinari to win the Claret Jug. Back in Pinehurst (1:00:30) - 24 players battled it out on 3 courses over 3 days - culminating with an 18 hole shootout that came down to the final hole.
