Not everyone thinks it’s great which is why I was eager to chat with Aditya Mehta about his experience coming to the states from India via Canada. But first while discussing the icebreaker topic of whether we’ve become too picky because of dating apps, Adi shared that his marriage was arranged marriage. Naturally I had lots of questions, but they’ll have to wait for next time (and Adi’s wife)! Our conversation was great, the modern-day ‘immigrant’ experience is different, yet in many ways it remains the same as that as our forefathers, who, as a reminder, were immigrants. Listen and learn! Planet Buzz’s Aries panel episode, “Jupiter & Uranus 21° Taurus – Expansive Authenticity” featuring special guest, Master Astrologer Lesley Francis, President of the Edmonton Astrological Society. Founded in 1977, the AES is the longest-running astrological society in Canada.

“Expansive Jupiter and unpredictable Uranus conjunct on May 20th in the earth sign of Taurus. Their orbit connects every 12 years when Jupiter completes a cycle around the Sun. The last cycle was during 2010-2011 at 0° Aries and late Pisces. However, these outer planets orbits conjunct in a repeating sign every 83-4 years when Uranus completes its full cycle around the Sun. The last time in Taurus was in 1941 during WWI – not an easy time for the USA and the world at large.” said Sue Minahan, founder, and host of the weekly show. “Bottom-line, these consciousness energies are in earth-based Taurus ruled by value-oriented Venus. The archetype involves many features including resources, both material such as land and money, or relating to talents like art and music. The dynamics incorporate a wide spectrum of abundant possibilities – with changes on the horizon for growth.”
