Alternative Talk- 1150AM KKNW

Stacy works hard for her money but spends Pete’s! Stacy rants about poor processes around deliveries, the healing properties of sunshine and dogs and having an attitude of abundance versus scarcity. Stacy and her guest Emily McPhetridge of First Financial Northwest Bank continue the dialog around financial literacy in celebration of Financial Literacy Month! While Emily is passionate about the topic in general, she is especially motivated to work with women on understanding the importance of having their own financial identity, it’s amazing how many women at every age and stage don’t. And even more surprising how many are unaware when it comes to their overall finances (shared or not). It’s a conversation that needs to be ongoing. In the meantime, based on current events, if you want to learn more about FDIC coverage visit: https://edie.fdic.gov/calculator.html. And she works with them; and when it comes to guest Kathy Lewis of Elemental Alchemy Healing, both apply! Before they chat, Stacy shares details from her visit with her mom. From dinner at Elaine’s artfully curated condo and lunch at Wendy’s (gotta love that Senior discount!), to Happy Hour at the Bistro and cocktails with the Corner Group Crew at Ginny’s, it was a trip to remember spent with a community Mom (and I) are so grateful for! Spotlight With Laurie Hardie 04 - 02 - 2023 by Alternative Talk- 1150AM KKNW

April’s Taurus panel Planet Buzz, scheduled every first Sunday each month. Astrologer Nicholas Polimenakos joins as the Special Guest for Planet Buzz subject, “Eclipses Unleashed” about the upcoming first set of solar and lunar eclipses in 2023.

“Eclipses occur when the New Moon or Full Moon is close to the lunar nodes, and come in pairs. April 20 brings 29° Aries Solar Eclipse because the nodes enter Aries/Libra this July and currently are at the end of Taurus/Scorpio. The solar eclipse called Ningaloo Eclipse takes its name from an Aboriginal word. The path of totality passes over North West Cape, a remote peninsula of Western Australia, as well as lower part of Indonesia.” said Sue Minahan, founder, and host of the weekly show.

“May 5 brings the final Scorpio eclipse at 16°Taurus until May 7, 2021, in eight years, also a lunar eclipse at 16° Scorpio. The combination of the South Node, that releases energy at the Full Moon, and the emotionality of the passionate fixed water sign Scorpio archetypal energy, involves deep emotions. What’s hidden may become exposed resulting in transforming what must be deal with, although difficult, allows more empowerment." Regions seeing at least part of this Lunar eclipse includes Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, Pacific, Atlantic, Indian Ocean, Antarctica.
