  • Love From The Hyp 11 - 30 - 22 Psychiatrist, Dr Ellen Vora
Anxiety affects more than 40 million Americans. This number only continues to increase as we deal with the impact of COVID-19 and the pandemic lockdowns. Until recently, the US has also not given mental health the attention it has needed.
In addition, conventional medicine has primarily viewed anxiety as a result of brain chemistry and psychology, when more evidence now points to its origins to be rooted in the physical body.
Listen to this edition of Love From The Hyp, where we will dive deeper into anxiety with acclaimed psychiatrist, Dr Ellen Vora.
Dr Vora will share a new and unconventional approach to anxiety from her latest book, “The Anatomy of Anxiety”, including; recognizing True versus False anxiety, treating anxiety through more holistic pathways-like understanding the impact of sleep, diet, caffeine, exercise, stress and hormone imbalances. She will also touch on supplements to help with anxiety, and the mindset needed to also overcome it.
If you have struggled with anxiety, you won’t want to miss this insightful interview!

  • The Remarkable Relationships Show - 11 - 30 - 22 - Finding God on Tinder
Today, I will be interviewing Chase O’Donnell. We will be talking about our experiences of dating. She is in her 30s and I turn 70 today. Chase and I met on a spiritual retreat this summer. When I found out that she earns her living as a stand-up comedienne, I asked her to join me on the show. She eagerly agreed. As we talked about being single and dating, we began to compare the desires and challenges of a woman ready to start a family life with a post-reproductive woman. Naturally we compared the desires and challenges of men in our respective cohorts. Our surprising and mutual conclusions brought us full circle to our original connection as spiritual seekers. You know we will be laughing! Chase O'Donnell is an LA based comedian, actress, and writer. She currently features for Christina P. across the US. Her two person comedy show 'Too Blondes' won the Broadway World Award and received praise in the New York Times. Chase has been a fan favorite on notable podcasts including "Dr. Drew After Dark" and "Where My Mom's At". She also writes for National Lampoon's Final Edition. Chase was chosen for Best of Fest in the Burbank Comedy Festival and won the famous Uncle Clyde's Comedy Contest. She enjoys tea, rainbows, and Disney Plus in no particular order. • Stacy Connects 11 - 29 - 22 Sorry Charlie!
Stacy chats about her Thanksgiving back east; her nephew’s delicious braised turkey, her chatty in-laws and the overall vibe of the east coast versus west. She also raves about the mockumentary, “Marcel the Shell with Shoes On,” a total must-see! Her wise-beyond-his-year-son, Charlie joins the show for a frank conversation about how gaming, the internet and consuming digital content in general have influenced and impacted the health of his mind, body and spirit. Eye-opening and a little heartbreaking; a classic example of hindsight being 20/20 and hopefully models the importance of open communication between parents and children of all ages. Special thanks to Charlie!
