The Dr. Pat Show: Talk Radio to Thrive By!: Activism Through Coaching Model: A Catalyst for True Allyship with Guests Anita Russell, Mavis Bauman, and Gail Hunter.

Allyship is not a noun; it's a verb, a lifestyle, and a mindset. The Activism Through Coaching Model serves as a catalyst to demonstrate true allyship. It's a personal journey of action taken to eradicate racism where the result is antiracism activation. Anita Russell, Mavis Bauman, and Gail Hunter, hosts of InflexionPoint Podcast, discuss true allyship and its personal impact.

Stacy and Eric celebrate the absurdity of national holidays like Invite an Alien to Live with You Day and Take a Monkey to Lunch Day; the latter introducing Stacy to Lancelot Link. Their conversation about podcasts runs the gamut from humor and history to music and murder; take notes and check out their recommendations. Vance Dingfelder of Dingfelder’s Delicatessen and Nourish Catering calls in while working the deli counter; they dissect various orders and talk about his classic tuna sandwich. Eric also debuts Vance’s musical intro as Lord of the Sandwich. Go to https://dingfelders.com for the skinny on “The Meat.” Next time, Stacy and Eric talk about their favorite video games/apps.

Stacy shares conversations and observations from her week including a follow up to the Usain Bolt versus Joey Chestnut relay race debate, pool people watching and ordering oysters from Amazon for the pearls. Stacy’s guest this week is 17-year-old, Kirkland-based artist and business-savvy marketer, Austin Picinich. Primarily self-taught, Austin learned his way around a canvas by doing and with support from his art-loving parents. He learned his way around promotion through local artists sharing inspiration and information as well as from his high school DECA class. Not only does he paint and promote, but he gives back as well; he conceived and executed a community-based project at like his mural at Juanita Beach Park in Kirkland, WA to raise awareness for salmon restoration.
