Alternative Talk- 1150AM KKNW

Have you allowed what appears to be going wrong, to drive the bus instead of what you know to be true in your Heart?

Our guest today is Dan Shulman, a shareholder and attorney for the firm Vedder Price in Chicago, who’s here to talk with us about making mid-life career transitions. First, though, are a few career-related stories from the last few days.

Episode 46: “Thanksgiving Hits and Mythses”

JDK separates history from myth in the Thanksgiving holiday as celebrated in both the U.S. and Canada, and poses a challenge for us all in how we commemorate and celebrate all we have to be thankful for; must we base it all on flawed notions of “tradition”? Or would we be better served by just being thankful?

Spotlight With Laurie Hardie 11 - 21 - 2021 by Alternative Talk- 1150AM KKNW

Be sure to tune into Talk Cosmos on Sunday, November 21 at 1pm Pacific as host Sue Rose Minahan brings together co-authors Tara Aal from the USA and Aswin Subramanyan from India together for an interview. Their book, Astrology by Moonlight, to be published December 8, is a melding of Eastern and Western astrology in the context of the lunation cycle and how it applies beyond the Sun and Moon. It takes a fresh look at the Moon and its synodic phases with each of the traditional and modern planets, including Pluto. Life is full of cycles and phases, and anyone, whether they know astrology or not can relate to them.

“Although Astrology by Moonlight dives deep into phasal material, by applying Dane Rudhyar’s pioneering 8 soli-lunar phases to Moon-planet relationships, there’s plenty of basics for those newer to astrology. But if you already know almost everything about the topic, it might just open the door to a new perspective with its 8 phases of evolutionary development! Then this may be an interview to hear on Talk Cosmos leading-edge conversations awakening the authentic self for your soul growth,” said Sue.

Talk Cosmos is your opportunity to ponder realms of what Carl Jung called the collective unconsciousness that’s shared through time to the present…all through the lens of Sue’s lifetime of peering into astrology.

“Thankfully, I discovered Evolutionary astrology. Its perspective points directly to our unique personal spiritual soul growth…driven by our aligned intentions. Its promising purpose of soul growth ignited an entirely alive Zodiac. Captured, I felt compelled to study the deep significance of astrological application,” said Sue.

Sue is your guide to focusing the Cosmos kaleidoscope. In the words of Einstein, “Energy’s never destroyed, energy only changes.”
