47 years ago, Elvis Presley passed into history. The King of Rock and Roll “left the building” at the age of 42. Today, we remember his too-short life and celebrate his incredible legacy with Cory Cooper, widely regarded Elvis expert. The Seattle Consulate opened on February 23, 2024. Consul General Gupta will comment on activities for India Independence Day (1947) Thursday, August 15.

*Debadutta Dash, is an Advisor to the Consul General Gupta. Dash was one of the founders of Washington State and India Trade Relations Action Committee (WASITRAC) an organization that supported trade between Washington State businesses and firms in India. He also served as a Commissioner, Washington State Commission on Asian Pacific American Affairs (CAPAA).

*Ram Dixit, President, MLK Gandhi Empowerment Initiative has long work history in the technology industry and is using his expertise to technologically enable participants from under served communities in Martin Luther King Jr. County.

*Anjali Dixit is a second year student at the University of California at Berkeley where she is studying political science and economics. She is passionate about social justice. She was a member of the Seattle King County NAACP Youth Council and this summer served as an intern for Congressman Raj Krishnamoorthi (D) Illinois 8th Congressional District.

*Hayward Evans, Co Convener, Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration/Continuation Committee (MLKCC) provides updates for the 61st Anniversary of the August 28, 1963 March on Washington DC for Jobs and Freedom. The event will be held in Seattle on August 28 beginning at Holgate Street Church of Christ with a social hour beginning at 5:00 pm (PDT).

Archetypes are the ideas of consciousness that humans have tried to explore and embody as values to live by, with mixed success. These archetypes form the basis of human professions till today: Abundance, Power, Beauty, Love, Goodness, Truth, Justice, Wholeness and Self.

In this book, “The Return of the Archetypes: Re-visioning your self and Society with Human Values” Amit Goswami, and Valentina R. Onisor have developed the scientific theory for the human archetypal experience and how ideas of consciousness can be embodied in matter (brain). They also demonstrate that these archetypal explorations have been crucial in developing what we call civilization.

The authors show that the recent downturn of civilization that we see around us is due to the myopic metaphysics that establishment scientists adopted in the 1960’s, 70′ s and 80′ s, mostly as a power play with religion. Scientific materialism is the idea that every phenomenon is a material phenomenon, and this really is overruled by the findings of quantum physics, as demonstrated by Amit’s earlier books.
