It's the return from our holiday hiatus as we begin the new year and new era of 1980's Robert Altman. Apologies for a little bit of a low-energy episode, we're recovering from the holidays.

We talk about the funny ensemble comedy HealtH, a movie that is currently on the brink of becoming lost media. You can find it on YouTube in really low quality, but it's otherwise completely unavailable on home media and streaming. It's the end of the year and the end of the 70s for Robert Altman, so we decided to take a look back at the movies we've watched so far. Then we hand out some of the first annual BOB AWARDS, our handpicked awards for some categories we created. Then, we end the episode ranking our favorite movies from this decade. This one was a lot of fun, so we hope you enjoy!

We've reached our final Altman movie of the 1970s! It's a romantic comedy starring Paul Dooley and Marta Heflin; it's quirky, weird, funny, and a little messy. We talk about all that stuff, plus Este shares a very funny first date story, and we just have a very fun time chatting about this movie. Hope you like it!

This one's maybe our goofiest episode yet, we're talking about Altman's 1979 sci-fi postapocalyptic gambling thriller set in the future, starring Paul Newman. We get into the rushed and weird production of this movie, including why it has 4 credited writers. And we also just joke around a lot and talk about what made this movie feel so bizarre and out of place in Altman's filmography. Really fun episode, peace and love!!!!!

We've returned from our thanksgiving break to visit the first of what we call Altman's "dark age", it's A Wedding. We get into wedding movies, how this movie was written by 3 people, and just gush over how funny and weird this one is. We recommend everybody check this out, it's hard to find but hopefully it can get restored someday.
