This week Tiffany speaks with Carly Bess Scalise. Carly is a scientist on the quest to find the cure for cancer. Her career story began after witnessing her aunt's fight against cancer when she was a senior in high school and feeling helpless hearing that the doctors were running out of treatment options. She speaks about what it was like entering the world of research and pursuing a Ph.D. She shares how being a social butterfly, as well as her interests in art and graphic design have supported her career journey.
