I did no research on the power of being first.  This is strictly from my own experiences.  I noticed very early on that I wasn’t a special athlete.  I also noticed that I had no problems when it came to working harder than everyone else.  I looked at some guys that were just naturally talented and noticed how they dominated.  I knew I didn’t have that.  So I had to find another way to dominate.  That was by outworking everybody.
