In this episode, I talk about why I prefer to train alone. I started training alone when I was a kid. It wasn’t t a choice I made I just was the kid that nobody took serious so I had to find a way.
This continued even when I was in college. We had all the resources in the world, but I was always the player who couldn’t get a rebounder or couldn’t get a coach to pour into me truly. So, I had to figure it out by studying and breaking down a ton of film.
I don’t like people in my training sessions if we’re not on the same wavelengths. Working with trainers from the teams I sign up for is one of my biggest struggles.
I’ve learned how to train myself and heal myself in case of injury so that I’m not dependent on anyone at any time.

If you can please share it with someone that needs to hear it. I always say tell a friend to tell a friend. I’m trying to get this message as far as I can get it. I wish I had someone like me when I first had thoughts of becoming a professional basketball player.
And BY THE WAY:
My first book that I’ve ever written is available. It’s called How To Makempay and It’s a guide how I went from being cut twice in high school to being an international pro. It was more of a system than talent.
Within its pages, you'll discover the formula I used to get seen.
