Always The Jags

So the Jacksonville Jaguars ended the Houston Texans 7 year streak of victories here at Everbank Stadium. Now the question remains, did the Jags just catch the Texans in a free fall or are they truly ascending to that next step we think they can take? What do you think?

The Jacksonville Jaguars fell to the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, letting a game that they largely controlled, slip through their fingers. Concerning drops from Brian Thomas Jr., Travis Hunter and Dyami Brown that could have put the game out of reach ended up in a loss. Which is a shame because the offensive line played excellent and Travis Etienne and Bhayshul Tuten had extremely dynamic games.

Jacksonville cruised to victory over Carolina in a game where the Panthers never really threatened. Liam Coen won his first game as head coach with a punishing run game and opportunistic defense that's giving Jaguars fans high hopes for the season. Next up will be the Cincinnatti Bengals, which will be a fitting litmus test for where this team is. What do you think? Jags off to a good start?

Defensive end/outside linebacker (5): Josh Hines-Allen, Travon Walker, Dawuane Smoot, Emmanuel Ogbah, Dennis Gardeck

Who do you think will make the 53-man roster?

So with the Jacksonville Jaguars taking on the New Orleans Saints in week 2 of the preseason, we got our second look at this Liam Coen offense. And while there was ntoable improvement, the biggest story was the trade that took place shortly after, DT Khalen Saunders left the Superdome with Jacksonville in exchange for C Luke Fortner. All in all, a savvy move by James Gladstone after a solid outing by the Jaguars but what do you think? Was it a good move? Are the Jags heading in the right direction?

These are my thoughts on Jacksonville Jaguars Preseason Week 1 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Some of the highlights include Trevor Lawrence's performance, Bhayshul Tuten's touchdown and of course, Cam Little's 70 yard field goal!

However, there were some concerns. Jackonville's starting offense didn't exactly move the ball with ease against Pittsburgh's second string defense. Meanwhile the Jaguars' first string defense allowed Pittsburgh's second-string offense move up and down the field and overcome a penalty for a touchdown. Some positives but some legitimate concerns. What did you think about the game?

Today I'm breaking my thought from the Jakcsonville Jaguars Scrimmage Game and their first unofficial depth chart! Here are my three main takeaways:

1. Brian Thomas Jr. & Travis Hunter are a superstar WR duo, and look out for Joshua Cephus.

2. Jarrian Jones might take Tyson Campbell's starting CB spot.

3. Cam Little is BEAST at kicker.
