This is the first in a series of anonymous letters I will be reading. Enjoy.

I share a story that has shaped my life.

Take care of yourself. Take time to read, practice yoga, see a movie, etc. Do anything that makes you feel good.

You may feel like you are broken. Like you have nothing else to give. But I want you to know that you are only bent.

If you are having a bad day and need to yell scream or vent, live in that moment. Feel everything you need to feel in that moment, then move on for the rest of the day.

I’m getting real about my hair loss. I still haven’t accepted the hair loss, but I am working everyday to being as accepting as I can.

I talk about when I first acknowledged to myself that I was bald. I also talk about how I felt after the first cut.

I discuss how hard it was for me to go out in public Bald. Then I overcame my fear.

Being bald has empowered me. I have learned how to be more authentic and transparent.
