Vivian Santos is a Portuguese singer/musician from Hanford, CA. She is most well known in our community for being a Fadista and yearly participant of danças de Carnaval. However, she is also an avid classical singer with a Bachelor's degree in Music Education (emphasis in choral and voice), from Fresno State. She currently teaches high school choir and musical theatre at Sierra Pacific High School in Hanford!

Jessica Mendes was born and raised in "Little Portugal" California, where she participated in various Portuguese activities her entire life. In 2017 she moved to Portugal with her husband, to start a new journey and to fulfill her life passion of helping people, any way that she can, all while being a mother to her beautiful little girl. She’s living in Algarve and just became Mrs. Algarve in 2020! Jessica is running for Mrs. Portugal which will be held in a couple weeks! Parabens Jessica!!

Father rico is a local Artist with a Graffiti backround. Applying everything he learned painting in the streets into fine art imagery. His motivation is solely to inspire others to apply themselves to what they do and NEVER GIVE UP!!! He is the master-mind behind the NEW beautiful Five Wounds Catholic Church Mural, in "Little Portugal" San Jose, in the parking lot of Bacalhau Grill! Annnnd... Ghislaine Smith-Gates, of Santa Cruz county, is the master-mind being the "OM SOUL" MOVEMENT, raising Autism Awareness! OM stands for "Ocean 2 Mountain" ~ The OM SOUL MOVEMENT starts along the Monterey Bay ocean line that is nestled against the Santa Cruz county mountains. Daiane A. Dutra is a 1st generation American born, to parents from the Azores islands (father from São Miguel island & mom from São Jorge island). She is from my hometown and neighborhood of "Little Portugal" San Jose, California U.S.A. and has been involved with the Portuguese community since childhood, principalmente com as nossas Danças de Carnaval She is a wife, sister, amiga verdadeira and a business owner to "Obsidian Wax & Beauty" located in downtown Willow Glen ~ and it so happens to be their 3RD YEAR ANNIVERSARY TODAY!! Nancy Burns, is from Gilroy, California and is the creator and producer of "Miñha Mama Teresiñha" on Facebook and YouTube. She is a Firm Believer in Divine interventions and believes God intervened, for her to start the videos of her mom! She wanted to start something, that her 2 grandkids, Nora June & Luka Robert, could watch and their children. She has one daughter Chelsea and has been married for over 28 years to her best friend, Robert. For the past year, every single Sunday at 3:15pm California time, rain or shine, Nancy & her Mama Teresinha, go Live and Pray The Holy Rosary. It has now turned into 300-400 people coming to PRAY for the world and for God, through them, all Praying together ~ healing people right before our eyes ! They get people that ask God for something that they are going through, and then the next week, they come back and tell us that God has answered their prayers thru praying the Rosary with Nancy & Mama Teresinha. Nancy is a business owner / entrepreneur. For the past 2 years, Nancy has been a Social Media Influencer on Facebook and Instagram, working with business owners to promote their products. Nancy grew up in Santa Clara, Calfornia and attended, as well as received all her Sacraments at St. Clares Church, and was also part of the Kids Choir and a lector in Portuguese Mass. She went to Portuguese School in Santa Clara in the 80’s , where she learned how to read & write in Portuguese. Nancy also has interests in journalism, and studied it in her early years of college. She has participated in Portuguese organizations, as being a side made in the parade of Irmandado Espírito Santo De S.E.S. Hall, and also participated in local Portuguese Theater with her mom Teresa Neves and Jose Barcelos of San Jose , Ca at Portuguese Athletic Club. Nancy brings the “Aloha” spirit everywhere she goes

Mama Teresinha is, Teresa Ferreira Neves, and also known has "Teresa Paula", dos seus tempos de Teatro na Ilha De São Miguel Açores, freguesia de Faja De Baixo. She immigrated to California in 1968 and has been married for 52 years. She loves acting but also adores singing! Mama Teresinha adores to see others happy, and is a true loyal friend. She is a firm believer in God and the quote she live by is, *Vivo no presente dia aqui e agora! Amanha não se sabe!*

So so so beyond excited to have a mom & daughter duo, so fantastic, like Nancy & Teresa on AmáCONVERSA!!!

Rui Nova is marking a 35-year career, having started with the help of José Cid and Carlos Paião, still in the 80's. On the Radio, António Sala and Olga Cardoso, Luis Arriaga and Álvaro Nazareth were his "godparents". With several albums edited, he recorded with Luis Filipe Aguiar, José Cid, conductor José Marinho and Ramon Galarza. In 2010 he participated in the RTP Festival for Eurovision, reaching the Grand Final!! He launched projects in Orchestra such as MY WAY BIG CASINO alongside Cristiana, and currently “Rendez-vous / Gerações”, with Ana Oliveira and the New Harmony Big Band.
