In the last episode of season seven of this great podcast, we were joined by entertainer, actress and comedian Amanda Lynn Baez about why she puts her all into comedy.
Amanda was born an entertainer, yet something was holding her back. She would go through an identity crisis in her early years where she didn’t know who she was and where she came from. Amanda was a person without an idea about what she wanted to bring to this world of passion. Yet, when going to university and picking up a class, that was when her journey into comedy truly started. Amanda started performing at stand-up clubs in New York, such as Gotham Comedy Club, Caroline’s, and Broadway Comedy Club, by age 20. She would receive numerous compliments from people like Kenny Warren and eventually put her all into what she truly loved.
In this conversation, we talked about her identity crisis in her early years, what attracted her to comedy and if the profession is going over the edge.
