Amanda Pizarro is the co-founder of The Salty Donut. After traveling the country, researching craft donuts, Amanda and her husband formulated a plan to open a shop of their own in Miami, seeing an opportunity in its culinary landscape. In 2015 together they brought Miami its first gourmet donut shop. Within their first year in business, The Salty Donut upgraded from a pop-up mobile shop to two brick-and-mortars in Wynwood and South Miami, and it has since become a household name for South Florida locals, even gaining national attraction from foodies all over the country. Amanda has since earned herself a spot on Forbes 30 under 30, and numerous other awards and achievements.

Amanda and her team are now leading the company into much bigger and better things as they continue to grow with 5 shops nationwide. She is here today to give us all insight on what it took to bring The Salty Donut from an initial idea to an executed concept and what has kept her motivated and ahead of the industry.
