At 6:47pm on the 26th of August 2011, a frantic 911 call shattered the otherwise somewhat peaceful city of Chicopee, located on the Connecticut River in Hampden County, Western Massachusetts.

Despite the crime rates of this area being quite high and well above the national average, its level of violent crimes is relatively low; so low in fact that in 2011 only one murder was reported.
