Thinking about a drawing app as a chalkboard app was a change in perspective that helped motivate me to tackle an app problem again. Even though it was the same problem (making an mvp drawing app), the different perspective made the problems seem easier to tackle. It at least helped me TRY. Some problems feel so overwhelming that's it's hard to even try, but a change of perspective can help that.

I'm working on a drawing app and trying to focus on a minimum viable product. I also want to build the app in a way that makes it easy to add features later, but when I'm just following tutorials it can be hard to figure out best practices.

Who knew that feature creep could be a problem for something as simple as a tip calculator app?

Tried out the Unity game engine, now starting on a tip calculator app.

This is my sixth app on the Google Play Store. On to the next one! Also, time to study.

TextWatchers are fun, but watch out for the infinite loops! I also made a tool in VBA to help me with app translations. Trying out other programming languages is much less scary now that I've got basic programming skills under my belt.

I still feel like a beginner, but teaching what I know is fun and helpful for me (and hopefully to other people too).

I also want to keep doing small, easy apps so that I can quickly iterate through my app development process, and hopefully I'll be learning the skills to build better (and cooler) apps along the way.

I want to try Kotlin, Instant Apps, and test the app bundles feature, but I probably won't get to all of that. Time to use the whiteboard to prioritize.

I finished the Random Number Generator! I forgot to mention it, but Android Studio made it easy to create an app bundle.
