Robin and Dan welcome Tracy and Elaine Hays to the show.

Tracy suffered a traumatic brain injury from a hit-and-run accident while training for a half ironman triathlon in 2014. This is his story of recovery and how he learned to see God in the day-to-day.

Heal the City is a 501(c) 3 founded by Dr. Alan Keister, an Amarillo physician who identified a desperate need for healthcare throughout certain neighborhoods within Amarillo. 

Dr. Keister began by offering free health screenings at various schools such as San Jacinto Elementary where organizers saw more than 500 people in two hours time. 

This overwhelming neighborhood response not only highlighted a critical need but sparked the vision to open a free medical clinic in the San Jacinto neighborhood.

Panhandle Community Services is a non-profit, community based organization offering a variety of programs and services to assist low-income individuals and families. Our programs and services are designed and implemented to target specific poverty-related issues with the goal of bridging the gap between poverty and self-sufficiency. As a whole, PCS provides a broad base of support for the residents of all twenty-six Panhandle counties.
