That’s what the Pipestone A’s amateur baseball team enjoyed in its season-opening victory over the Flandreau Blue Teal, 9-4, on Wednesday evening at City Field. “They were a young, energetic team,” Pipestone A’s manager Avery Ploeger said of the Blue Teal, one of two summer baseball teams based in Flandreau.
