Jesus warns the Apostles that the Father would judge them severely if they failed to forgive one another from the heart. Forgiveness from the heart is a distinguishing characteristic of Christianity. Praise God for sending the Lord Jesus to bear that wrath in the place of sinners on the cross!

"This Covenant is revealed in the gospel; first of all to Adam in the promise of salvation by the seed of the woman... it is founded in that eternal covenant transaction that was between the Father and the Son about the redemption of the elect." 2 Timothy 1:9

The absolutely essential necessity of Saving faith in order to access God's righteousness in the gospel. So important! We do not have righteousness to offer! It comes to us as a gift in Christ alone through faith alone!

God made men upright...yet he did not long abide in this honor..." Want to know why their is so much that is wrong with our world and lives? Death, disease and all that is wrong in this world came into the world through sin! Sin is the greatest problem men and women have and Jesus Christ is the only solution! All who call upon the Lord Jesus in sincere faith will be saved to a hope of a new world at His second coming in which righteousness will dwell!

What kinds of righteousness will you stand before God trusting in when He summons you before Him in death or at the final judgment of the world? Your righteousness? This sermon highlights the only righteousness God will accept and it is the righteousness of the life of Jesus Christ! Through faith in Christ His righteousness is imputed or given to us so that we might stand justified in God's sight and be saved forevermore! Thank God for this indescribable gift!
