What does freedom mean to you? That's what we're going to be exploring this month on the Ambition + Mischief podcast.
You know things aren’t usually done the traditional way over here. So we're going to look at freedom from two different angles. First, the business angle. How do we create our own freedom by defining our own success? Second, we're going to look at what it means to create INNER FREEDOM, regardless of what's happening externally.
Tune into this week's solo episode, where @sam.cartagenaa tells us more about what we can expect this month, including:

We’re rounding out this month’s Soft Life conversation by talking about mothering. But this episode isn’t about mothering another human. It’s about mothering yourself.
How do you nurture, show compassion and show up for yourself?
That’s what we dive into with our guest Patience Tamarra. Tune into this episode to hear about:
We recorded this episode in 2021 and at the time, mothering was simply a practice Patience had with herself. Since then, Patience has become a mother to a beautiful baby boy! And I just know that the nurturing, compassion and mothering she’s been able to show herself is going to influence how she’s able to show up for and mother her child.
So whether you’re mothering another human or simply mothering your inner child, there are so many gems and insights waiting for you inside this episode.
Patience Tamarra is a published author, intuitive healer and yoga practitioner who has dedicated her life's walk to nurturing self-love through community. She leads virtual and sometimes physical community healing circles and spiritual retreats rooted in assisting others with living a more consciously aware life through writing, introspection and other sacred practices. She is also the creator and host of "Healing Together. Podcast" — a virtual community space to support your journey back home to self. You can find her offerings and her debut book "dear self," on her website at patiencetamarra.com.

Raise your hand if this sounds familiar: You followed the rules, did all of the things you were "supposed" to, only to feel lost at the end of the roadmap you were handed 🙋🏽♀️
That’s what happened to so many women inside of the Ambition + Mischief community, and it's what happened to Yetti. She became an engineer, was “successful” on paper, and still felt a void that corporate life wasn’t filling.
This week on the Ambition + Mischief podcast, we explore Yetti’s story transitioning from corporate life to full-time entrepreneurship, and coming home to herself in the process.
We talk about:
Yetti of YettiSays has been a much-needed voice within the mental-wellness space since 2010. As a writer, self-love coach, and the creator of "Mission: Self-Love", a wellness product line, Yetti provides her community with tools and support to effectively take better care of their mental wellbeing. By sharing her journey to health and happiness over the past 10 years, Yetti has built a beautiful community of women looking to take charge of their own joy, while helping to undo the stigma surrounding mental health within the Black and Brown community.

Let's be honest, there is a lot of pressure in today's society to create and do. We are expected to excel in everything we do and we often feel like we need to constantly be working on our goals. Some call this the art of "doing," while others call it perfectionism. But what if non-stop doing and perfectionism were really just masks for fear and insecurity? What if they were distractions, keeping us from doing something that scares us?
In this podcast episode, our guest Brittany Dandy shares her powerful experience with moving through fear in order to birth something new. She talks about her experience with motherhood, and the connection between birthing a human vs. birthing an idea into the world. And while giving birth isn’t something you or I are experiencing right now (hopefully 😅), it’s symbolic for what we are experiencing with bringing our inner visions to life.
Tune into the episode and let me know over on Instagram which part resonated with you most!

If you’re into Tiktok, you might have come across this popular Gen Z trend “main character energy”. It started out as a hashtag and has evolved into a meme where Tiktokers film themselves as main characters in their own movies.
Because, who doesn’t love to be the main character, right? But in real life, sometimes we are unaware that we choose to be the supporting character in our own lives instead of embodying the lead role. That’s what we’re exploring on this week’s Ambition + Mischief podcast episode: Happy Main Character Energy ✨

This week's episode is for those that like to be in control 🙋🏽♀️ Those that have learned, over and over, that we're not truly in control, even when we think we are. Even when we have the most perfect plan in mind, it doesn't always unfold the way we think it should.
I saw that firsthand during my time in Puerto Rico. I came here because I was following my intuition, and so I had an expectation that everything else would flow seamlessly.
