With one day away from the United States Presidential Election of 2020; I can’t help but to say what a time to be alive and have a hand and voice in transforming this world for the betterment of humanity.
As I shared in this episode, I am expanding the ABG community and sisterhood with our newly launched YouTube channel!
For my first video, I thought it would be interesting to share my experience as an African American woman casting my absentee ballot for the United States Presidential Election of 2020 while living in Phnom Penh, Cambodia!

This week I introduce Ambitious Black Girl Book Club and our October book select, Ain’t I A Woman By bell hooks. I’ll recap my first month as Educator in the classroom abroad, and what my experience has been like as I journey with the support of therapy and wellness. I shed light on the Well + Good article, The Importance of Black Spaces In Wellness By Na'Tasha Jones, and will dive into goals and thoughts that I am choosing to give energy to as we enter the last quarter of 2020.

As I adjust to my new role as an Educator I wanted to recap and share a few happenings along my journey, as well as why I had taken a necessary break from the Ambitious Black Girl community and sisterhood over the past few weeks.
