As you know, legacy planning is about planning for the inevitable, and although we may not want to think or talk about it, the reality is, it's not a matter of if, but when, and having a legacy plan in place will help dictate what will happen to our assets when we pass. Tonight, I want to talk about why we also need to plan for unexpected scenarios that may arise from our passing and how legacy planning can help to prevent unnecessary confusion and conflict when deciding the fate of an estate.
