In today's episode we are joined by Latorya Walker a globetrotter, community advocate, & a Clark Atlanta University alumna. She has nine years of experience working with middle and high school kids. She currently works in the technology sector, where she seeks to diversify the workforce. She founded InterCulturalYouth, also known as ICY or ICY Abroad, to give underserved youth access to foreign travel. Her long-term goal is to incorporate travel into the K–12 core curriculum to expose students to diverse cultures, careers, & perspectives. In this episode we discuss her journey to success. We also talk about how impactful her non- profit organization is to the underserved youth. We discuss how Latorya plays a role in diversifying the tech industry.
