On Sunday 23rd August Esther spoke on Psalm 91, which is her favourite psalm, as part of the summer psalms series we've had this year.

What does it mean to dwell? To sit, to live, to abide. To keep thinking or talking about something a lot of the time.

On Sunday 12th July we had James Spencer from Compassion UK with us. He's an excellent communicator and brought us a message about the kingdom of God as well as sharing about the work of Compassion in the area of Kisumu, Kenya, that we're connected to as a church.

On Sunday 5th July we had Reuben Williams as a guest speaker.

None of us are beyond moments of doubt.

When your faith gets shaken...

- Get around God's people, we were made to be with others.

- Don't mistake God's silence for his absence, just because he isn't speaking doesn't mean he isn't working. He's always doing something.

- Get in God's word, he'll speak to us and prepare us for what we're going to step into.

- Hear God's boast.

Where is your heart orientated?

Daniel lived in Babylon, but he didn't live for Babylon. His heart was orientated towards Jerusalem and God.

On Sunday 28th June we finished our series in Daniel by looking at Daniel in the lion's den. This is one of the most well known Bible stories. However, it isn't just a story for children it has a bite to it 🦁 which has valuable lessons to teach us in 2026. And it turns out Daniel might not be so far removed from where we are now as you might think!

And remember, God can be trusted to rescue us.

As we arrive in Daniel 4 we are starting to see Nebuchadnezzar slowly change.
