On Sunday 14th May 2023 we returned to our series looking at the opening themes of God's story in the book of Genesis and Tim Barton delivered a message on Genesis 2.

Being made in the image of God means…

1. We are intentionally created by God - you are a gift to the world!

2. We are created for relationship with God.

On Sunday 30th April 2023 Tim Murray started our brand new Genesis series, looking at the opening themes of God's story, by giving us an introduction to the series as a whole and then going into some of chapter one with us.

Genesis is an incredibly engaging, and at times complex, book so during this series we'll be asking questions like how does our understanding of God’s story shape our lives today? What can we learn and understand about God through this book?

Spiritual Disciplines message 2 from our Sunday service 23rd April 2023.

Throughout the year we’re having “one-off” Sunday preaches exploring some of the spiritual disciplines. We believe following Jesus is about encounter and formation, as both are important for us to live full Christian lives. This week Adrian shared on living life in an integrated and balanced way. Helping us understand God’s invitation to live in a fully human way attending to the needs of Soul, Mind and Body.

Tim Barton spoke on Jesus' Resurrection at our Easter Sunday service 9th April 2023.

His message was specifically on the road to Emmaus, which is a story that happened later on in the same day that Jesus rose from the dead. We celebrated Jesus' resurrection, thinking about the importance of the resurrection and what we should do with it, and also asking why we don't think about/talk about the resurrection that much apart from Easter?

Jesus The King a message from Tim Murray on Palm Sunday, 2nd April 2023.

Listen to our Palm Sunday message, starting off Holy week, as we near the end of the countdown to Easter. Tim talked through three aspects of King Jesus; the hope for a king, Jesus the king then, and Jesus the king now. He closed by challenging us to consider if we receive him as king.

Finishing our series in Galatians at our service on Sunday 26th March 2023, Jo Murray read and spoke on Galatians 6 - Living in step with the Spirit. She unpacked this with us and also looked at Paul's closing words to the church in Galatia in his day, and what these can still say to us today.

Nearing the end of our series in Galatians at our service on Sunday 19th March 2023, Vanessa Willmott spoke on Galatians 5:16-26 - Led by the Spirit. It’s a passage about how we can live a transformed life following Jesus both individually and together. And so we looked at the struggle that takes place within us between the sinful nature and our renewed hearts and how we can grow in the fruit of the spirit.

Continuing our series in Galatians at our service on Sunday 12th March 2023, Mike Crook spoke on Galatians 4:21-31. He highlighted how it is for freedom that that Christ has set us free.
