Good day beautiful people of afritunes community. I'm @ambmicheal and I'm super excited to be here, I have observed the community and i can see the exponential growth, its a privilege to be part of this really, It's week 112, and I'm glad to be able to do this.

Today, I would be doing the cover of a song titled:

Daniel Oyabanjo popularly known as Dbanj is a Nigeria born and breed musician. He spent his early life in Zaria where his dad used to be a military personnel, he started singing at his early stage which was inspired by his old elder brother who eventually died in a plane crash.

Daniel as since then struggled for acceptance and he came into limelight in 2008, he is the owner and founder of mo-hit records where Donjazzy was his producer.

I particularly love this song from him because like average male figure is, we re prone to polygamy and he was saying he is glad he finally found the bone of his bone that has captured his heart and he's willing to go all the way with her.

Even when his friends thought he'd always be a player, but since he set his eyes on her, the girl swayed him and he's madly in love. Listening to this song while growing up made life really sweet.

Recording this song was not hard at all because I know most of the lyrics off head, I just needed to practice couple of times to get some places right. I'm so excited to do this really. I hope you enjoy as you listen.

My name is Micheal with the username@ambmicheal and this is my second entry into the competition. I want to sincerely thank @jesuslnrs and @fernanblog for their warm welcome and words of advice and encouragement on my first attempt at singing.

The theme for the week is **Breathe**

Today, I would be doing the cover for the song titled:

I know you must be wondering the correlation between the title of this song and the theme for the week, but I tell you that if you listen to the song, you'd understand better, but before then.

In the history of creation, it has been established that God loves us so recklessly that he breathe his breath in us and gave us life, the book of **Job 33:4**

That been said, it is evident that God breathe his breath in us so we could have life, so we could live, what other greater love than that?

While rehearsing for this song, I kept feeling so emotional and having goosebumps as I kept reflecting on the amount of love God has for me, he knows me even before I was born, he loves me recklessly even as imperfect as I am, with so much flaws, yet he finds me worthy to keep.

9ice who is the alapomeji crooner and gongo aso is a strong music name in the Nigerian music industry, tho he is not on the fore front anymore, but he has blessed us with amazing music while growing up.

Street credibility talks about how credible he was on the street of the music industry and how relentless he was working because the people keeps asking him to do more.

He further went to say he changes every day with new idea, culture and zeal just like the chameleon changes it's skin and to crown it all, he described himself as a king and as such no 2kings can rule at the same time. **"Oba o le pe meji laafin"**

The 2face input in the music further makes it really amazing as he sang passionately and with so much effort and the beauty of his voice combined with the uniqueness of 9ice's made the music stand out. It's an old music that I love so much and I'm glad I am doing it's cover today as it was on the lips of almost all of us that was growing up when he released the music.

Hello great people of the openmic community, I sincerely welcome you to the hive openmic week 210 music competition. I am @ambmicheal and this is my first entry into the competition. I want to sincerely thank @jesuslnrs for the great initiative and his never-ending effort towards making this community worthwhile.

While checking the official post, I discover that The theme for the week is **Renacer Del Fuego**

Today, I would be doing the cover for the song titled:

> Amazing Grace - Gospel Hymn

This song has been performed by several other musicians and also in they hymn books of the Anglican's but it was originally written by **John Newton** as far back as the 18th century And has since then become a song every person want to reckon with, the song is now in most hymn books and most believer tend to sing the song.

The life history/story of John Newton as a slave trader and a person that lost his mother at early age of 6 prompted him to write this song. He was at some point abandoned in West Africa where he ended up up being a slave before he finally made his way back to his country and became a slave trader properly.

On his way back to his hometown, he encountered a huge storm that almost took his life and after he got back, he fought many battles to abolish the african slave trade as he experienced what it felt like first hand and the experience was indeed not pleasing.

On his course of setting things right, he ended up writing amazing grace and as such we have lyrics like:

It is evident that without his experience, he wouldn't have come up with such an amazing song which was the start of his **reborn in spirit and in God**, he was directly thanking God for giving him a redemption and a second chance at life

Good day my sweet reader from the BEER community, it's another beautiful weekend and here is my entry for the Week 354 #BeerSaturday Challenge.

A heartily thanks to @detlev for a job weldone, especially keeping tabs on the entries for each week and also to the sponsors of this contest for Thier unending support.


Few of my friends came visiting today and they came with **Star Radler**. I know you will be wondering what that is, well it is a fruity based beer with about 2.5% alcohol volume. Unlike other beers this beer has lemonade and lemon flavor thereby giving it a soothing taste and this fruity flavor that keeps you coming for more.

As they came in, I had about a crate of trophy inside my fridge as always since it's my favorite beer 🍻🍺 I asked my brother to serve us 3 bottles first to step down, we kept the star Radler inside the fridge and we enjoyed the trophy with cool music playing on the background.

After a while, we played whot game while we wait for the star Radler to get cold so we could enjoy that scintillating taste of the beer though with a lesser alcoholic volume.


Before I go further, let me talk a bit about **Star Radler:**

> Star Radler is a product of the Nigerian breweries and was launched in 2015. The beer comes in 2 distinct flavours with about 2.5% alcoholic volume

Now after waiting for the drink to be cold, we did something amazing and I would be telling you as you read along with me.

# MIXING TROPHY AND STAR RADLER BEER

After the drink got cold, we decided to try mixing both beer and see the outcome and if the taste will be great, we first mixed them in equal proportion but the taste wasn't really blending and so we added more trophy, more like mixing one star Radler with 2 trophy and the taste was heavenly.


We kept drinking that to play whot game wasn't appealing, we left the cards and focused on the beer and changed the tempo of the music, we ended up drinking about 16 bottles combined before I saw them off.

We are definitely going to try this mixture out when we go to the beer parlour next week and see how it'd go alongside peppersoup or stick meat and any sides at all.

Lastly, this new feeling of mixing both beer is heavenly and I can't wait to try it out over and over again.


@godfish recommended to try locally brewed beer but I'm unable to order from ikorodu Lagos, Nigeria. I don't know if anybody knows or can recommend where I can easily access them as I would love to try them out.

This song has been at the core of existence while growing up as a teenager and we would listen most of the times, I love the solemnity and the fact that its able to give me this connection i cant explain with words.

I later read more about the song and I discovered that it was originally composed by **Secret Garden** but the music was written by the Norwegian composer and lyricist Rolf Lovland.

Furthermore, the song was first performed at the funeral of Rolf Lovland's mother who is equally the composer of the song itself.

Josh Groban happened to come up with his own version of the same song sometimes in 2004 and had record of over 500,000 plays on radio and it's presently sitting at 171million views on YouTube

The song connects me to my maker and is able to instill this faith in me and help me to trust in the Lord with all my heart especially at my trying times and when I need him the most.

I have observed the community for a while and I must say it is indeed a well structured one hence for the very first time in my life, I'm attempting to sing.

Over time, Adekunle Gold has been a source of inspiration, right from the moment I listened to his song Sade, I fell completely in love with him and his sweet melodious voice and I have never been disappointed in him for once.

This orente song talks particularly about the love of his babe towards him, how the woman is well reserved and mannered. How even when put to test when he has nothing and she was getting advances from other rich guys, the girl didn't leave him but instead stayed and loved him more despite the situation.

Orente which literally means a very beautiful woman, the word is an ancient yoruba word but the meaning is not far fetched just like we have other endering names like orekelewa ibadiaron and the likes which they all are synonyms to each other.

Adekunle Gold took time to praise his orente and kept shouting out to her with the song appreciating her resilience and loving person and most importantly for finding him worthy of her love.

Hello Wonderful people of the BEER community, below is my entry into the Week 353 #BeerSaturday Challenge. Special thanks to all the top hive members who sponsors this contest and a big thank you to @detlev for such an amazing initiative.


So it's been a while, I haven't really been here as I was appealing an offense I committed in 2019, but now i am done and I'm officially back. I really missed doing this and engaging in this community, but I'm glad to be back and it sure promises to be better. Today I would be talking about Trophy which happens to be one of my favorite beer 🍻.

So during my long break, I went out with my friends to drink as usual and have some fun, we ended up taking soooo much that I lost count, I managed to make video at some point and the video is attached to this post.

Like I explained in my previous videos, trophy is a brand of beer with 5% alcoholic volume and is produced in osun state western part of Nigeria. The beer has been in production for over 30years and its owned by international breweries.


The beer is packed in green bottle and comes in 60cl while the can is designed similarly and comes in 33cl small can, the barley blend taste is so soothing especially when served cold.

# CAN BE SERVED WITH SIDES

At the Nigerian beer parlor settings, they have varieties of sides they sell alongside beer, one of the commonest is assorted peppersoup and catfish peppersoup.

With either of the 2, the feeling is heavenly and the taste is so amazing that it csn keep you coming back for more and before you know it, you are on the 5th bottle especially if the place is lovely and enjoyable.

Finally, the feeling that comes with having cold bottle of can of trophy beer is so amazing, soothing and refreshing that you cant but keep always wanting more.
