  • Episode #0068 - Hearing From God (Through The Holy Spirit)

Job 33:14: “For God speaks again and again, though people do not recognize it.”

Wouldn’t it be easier to just TALK to Jesus?!

John 14:26 "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance

all that I have said to you"

    John 16:13: “But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own;

he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.”

THE HOLY SPIRIT is what God uses as a translator, the Christian-whisperer

    EVERY CHRISTIAN has this!

Acts 2:38: "Repent,” Peter said to them, “and be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus the Messiah for the forgiveness of your sins, and

you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit’"

Romans 8:26: "Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words."

  • Episode #0067 - Hearing From God (Through His Word)

    Deuteronomy 8:3:

“Man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD.”

    Hebrews 4:12:

“For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires.”

    2 Timothy 3:16:
“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness”

  • Episode #0066 - Hearing From God (Through Salvation)

People wonder if God is speaking, the answer is YES. Just depends on if we are listening.

It’s all about a LOVE RELATIONSHIP with God!

    Hebrews 1:1-2 ESV

"Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world."

What is clear is that relationship HAS to come through Jesus - who tells us that NO ONE comes to the Father except through Him.

    John 10:27-28 ESV

"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand."

There are plenty of people, maybe some of YOU - who have taken your own thoughts and feelings and put God’s name on them.

Without the change of heart that happens at SALVATION, when you repent of your sinful nature, accept the forgiveness bought for you on the Cross,

and submit your life to following Jesus and living for God - you won’t be in a position to even hear God very well.

Book of Romans tells us that whoever CALLS ON THE NAME of Jesus will be saved. All you have to do is with a heart that knows you’re sinful and broken and in need of a Savior, JUST ASK.
