We are called on Memorial Day to pay tribute to those who fought and died to secure for the rest of us the freedom guaranteed by our remarkable Constitution. Arguably, such remembrance has never been more needed than now.

That’s because our armed forces, schoolchildren and people are being subjected to a comprehensive and aggressive effort to defame that document and Republic as the products of “systemic racism.” What an insult to those serving today, who swore to support and defend the U.S. Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic – to say nothing of the relatives of those who died doing so!

This Memorial Day, let us resolve to reject so-called “Critical Race Theory” and its proponents’ efforts to demean and undermine a country truly worth dying for.
