In this episode, Dan takes the trip up to Clifton, New Jersey ahead of the Rippers & Beer festival. We talk to Steve and Christian from Ghost Hawk from the dining room of the iconic NJ beer mecca - Rutt's Hutt.

Steve talks about how Rutt's Hutt has been part of his life since childhood and what it was like finding a spot for his brewery across from Rutt's. He also talks about the relationship between Ghost Hawk and Rutt's - a relationship that went from rocky to working together on a festival and a beer. Steve and Christian talk about the breweries attending and how the excited people were to buy tickets - selling out VIP before the brewery list was even revealed. Christian goes over the Rutt's menu and makes some suggestions of what people should order when they come to Rutt's. They also talk about their collab with Rutt's and their new Wings beer and reveal news about an event next year.

Later in the episode, Chase from Top Beer Drops goes over the top 10 new beers in the US which actually features a LAGER from a local brewery. And of course, Dan goes over some local releases that caught his eye including several new beers tied to Melesa's Wings.

Jose - Yankeerunner77 on Instagram - joins the podcast ahead of this year's Melesa's Wings which is being held on October 17th at Icarus. Jose talks about this year's event and the amount of money raised through the years. He also talks about the breweries that have made Wings beers this year and breweries that donated beer for this year's event. He reminds us why he started the charity event and why it means so much to him.

Later in the episode, Sam of Brick Farm joins the podcast to talk about their event the following day - Duckfest 2026. He goes over some of the duck dishes that will be available from their farm-to-table restaurant and of course some of the breweries that will be pouring beers - including of course Troon who will bring an exclusive beer for the event. He also tells us what his favorite Troon beers have been and how it is working at a beer mecca.

In this episode, Tom and Dan go to Madison, New Jersey - home of New Jersey's newest brewery - Rosecourt Brewery. There they talk to Logan and Angela - the sole owners of the brewery. We talk about their story - how these high school sweethearts made the jump to open their own brewery in their hometown. Logan walks us through his career in beer which includes brewery school in Belgium, making the jump to the craft beer world in California, and the decision to come back home to New Jersey to continue his beer journey. Angela talks about her career - very different from Logan's - but how her work experiences can help create a welcoming atmosphere for patrons of the brewery. We talk about the look and feel of the brewery which actually include a bit of Tom's handywork. Of course, we talk about the beers available for opening weekend but also the way you can have them served - a detail that they think matters a lot to people who visit Rosecourt. He talks to Mike of rosay_suds and bipoc_suds on Instagram as he talks about his second annual beer share at Oakflower for the holiday. They discuss inclusiveness in the craft beer community, what it means to be an ally and the charity aspect of the event. He also talks about Order Number 3 - an IPA recipe from Oakflower that breweries will be brewing and donating money for Juneteenth starting with NJ Beer Co this weekend. In this episode, Dan makes the drive up to NJ Beer Co as Ryan from Off Script Brewing was in town working with them on an exciting new beer. Sean of TheDraftRoomNYC joins the podcast as well to talk about their own upcoming collab with NJ Beer Co and how they connected with Off Script.

Ryan from Off Script Brewing tells his story about how he got into beer, the hype surrounding his recent offerings, and how he'll be brewing on a much larger scale soon where everyone will be able to get their hands on his beer. 

Paul from NJ Beer Co talks about the collabs with both Off Script and The Draft Room as well as the last beers that have been coming out of the brewery - some of which are getting monster scores on Untappd. He talks about the shift to making hop saturated beers and how the brewery is appealing to all levels of craft beer fans.
