Trump starts his re-election campaign in Orlando, recharging his disdain for Hilary Clinton who isn't running in 2020. The Orlando Sentinel endorses anyone but Trump in 2020. Another woman accuses Trump of rape. Boris Johnson, a UK politician, and want-to-be Prime Minister is caught in multiple pickles. The country and the world continue to be divided upon political lines over just about everything. Kyle Kashuv, a Parkland school shooting survivor, has his Harvard dreams denied over past racist comments -- and of course, conservatives can't help but to defend the bigotry.

The pundits claimed Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass) presidential candidacy was over from the start; but Warren showed them! She is here to stay until the very end. Heck, maybe she will be the next Democratic residential candidate.

Founder and former CEO of Starbucks, Howard Schultz, is running for president, as an independent, even though he is a lifelong Democrat. Why hasn't a single woman on the Republican side jumped into the presidential race? Conservative pundit, Ana Narravo learns real quick that Democrats aren't going to be dictated too. Sen. Elizabeth Warren is officially running, and Republicans are already declaring her candidacy DOA. Sen. Amy Kobuchar joins the presidential race, and Democrats should pay close attention, because Republican likes her.

On February 1, 2019 - On the first day of Black History Month, Virginian Democrats were forced to address a scathing scandal. The Virginian Plot revealed that Governor Ralph Northam (D) once dressed in blackface or Klansman while in medical school (1984). Instead of accepting responsibility and immediately resigning, Northam has buckled down - because that's what men do. Republicans, of course, expressed outrage. Funny, they continue to miss cleaning their own house of white supremacists. I demand the resignation of Gov. Ralph Northam.

We're thirty-three days into this government shutdown.  I know government workers are frustrated, fear losing their homes, and where their next meal is coming from.  I can relate to those worries.  Two years ago, I was laid-off.  It tops the list to being one of the worst moments of my life.  But unlike the government workers, I didn't lose my job because of political pandering.  Mr. President, end this shutdown now.  Enough is enough.

The Democratic primary field is getting into formation and things are looking interesting, especially for progressives; Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) is set to officially announce her candidacy for president. My feelings are dicey, but one thing I remain firm is Gabbard's right to religious freedom and her personal beliefs on queer Americans; But the buck stops there in my defense of Rep. Gabbard. Her foreign policy stances are all over the place, from isolationist to interventionist.  That's troubling for me. More so, her defense of Assad enrages me.
