With the help of some great teachers she now writers her own books that can be purchased on Amazon or rented from the Lebanon Community Library. Jami goes in depth about her most recent book (The Dark Mother: Dark & Twisted Tails of a Woman's Scorn) and the real life problems that our society faces. This book is NOT for children.

Episode 044: of the American Grown Podcast in the Colortech Creative Solutions studios with Elijah Walters singer/songwriter. I first met Elijah while photographing a CCHS graduation. He was one of the senior speakers and immediately I was very impressed with what he had to say. After doing some research on social media I found that he has a Spotify and is producing music. If you consider yourself a "Swifties" this episode is for you!

In this episode Elijah talks about how he discovered music through KIDZ BOP. He started writing down song lyrics. Around the same time he started learning piano which included a few singing lessons at the end of each session. Elijah found his love for music. He's currently on a journey to become the next great pop singer bringing his own spin to the genre. Elijah is attending college at The American Musical & Dramatic Academy in New York city. While at college he's also producing new music which can be found on Spotify & purchased on iTunes. Singers like Lorde & Taylor Swift are a big inspiration for the music he produces.

Towards the end of the episode we talk about aliens/end of the world and Elijah sings an EXCLUSIVE sound bite to one of his new unreleased songs. Summer Girl.

He's a master at jiu-jitsu and doesn't step down from a fight. Currently he is ranked 350th out of 1095 active US Pro Featherweights. His life is dedicated to his professional MMA career and also helping to educate and lift up those around him. And no he has no relation to Morgan Wallen or Harry Potter.

In this episode Christian talks about his early childhood and how his passion and talent for pinning his opponents in high school wrestling lead to him entering the fight game at the young age of 18! Now at 24 he has a pro record of 2 wins 1 loss & an amateur record of 5 wins 1 loss. Christian provides vivid details about his wins & losses to help give the listener a behind the scenes of what a fighter goes through mentally & physically. When I first read his bio I thought this guy must be in his mid 40s. Matt was full-time with Life Lion EMS as an Advanced EMT, he is an Afghanistan War Vet with 375 combat flight hours as a CH-47F door gunner, a volunteer firefighter with the Annville Cleona Fire Department for over 10 years and currently serve as a Lieutenant, Chaplin & Trustee. If that wasn’t enough he decided to start his own business Cleona Coffee Roasters. All by the age of 25!

In this episode Matt talks about his time in the service (which he is still currently doing) and shares his thoughts on the US withdraw from Afghanistan. Episode 041: of the American Grown Podcast in the Colortech Creative Solutions studios with Julia Jiorle Yoga Instructor & Mental Health Consultant. I learned about Julia through Colleen an old work friend of my wife. She connected us through LinkedIn message. Having not met Julia in person like many other guests on the podcast I wasn't sure what to expect. However she came in to the studio rockin her patriotic American flag "yoga" poses t-shirt and a great big smile!

In this episode Julia talks about growing up with anxiety and feeling nervous to fit in with other kids especially in middle school. Her aunt helped by providing her VHS tapes and books about yoga which helped her feel more relaxed and confident. Julia attended LVC and graduated with a degree in psychology. She spent years in the mental health industry as a consultant until COVID hit. Her world like many others changed. With that change she also had her daughter and wanted to spend more time at home. So she went back to what she knew and got certified to be a yoga instructor and is currently teaching classes in the area.

I highly recommend you listen to the episode the whole way through. About halfway or so we do a breathing exercise that Julia encourages everyone to do daily.

Episode 039: of the American Grown Podcast in the Colortech Creative Solutions studios with Katie Trainer Traveling Educational Muralist. Katie is a very talented artist. Her magic on the other hand could use a little tweaking...but in all love Katie is an amazing person. We share a love for animals and we both have 3 purrrfect fur babies.

In this episode Katie talks about her travels from Lepppnin to Erie PA and out to Oregon and Seattle. She also spent time in Nashville and eventually made her way back home. While on her travels Katie met a lot of fascinating people. In Oregon she learned to make rocket stoves and spent time in eco-villages (If you think rocket stoves are made by Elon Musk you may want to listen). In Nashville she learned to combine her love of magic with her art and began selling pieces on the streets. Once home Katie received an opportunity to paint her first ever mural on Cheery Street (mural corridor) in West Reading. Since then she has created over 100 murals and has taught classes to roughly 5500 people on the importance of art.

Episode 038: of the American Grown Podcast in the Colortech Creative Solutions studios with Lucas Stoner owner of Little Mountain Log Works. Lucas is an avid hunter & outdoorsman. He lives what some would call a very self sufficient lifestyle. When not out hunting he's running his saw mill creating beautiful one of a kind live edge pieces. His wooden projects range from desks, tables, bars & more!

In this episode Lucas talks about growing up in the Little Mountain and how he learned a lot about life from his father. Lucas is currently a local firefighter, heavy equipment mechanic, sawmill operator and avid hunter. When he has downtime him and Mike Saphore are out hunting predators such as coyotes, foxes and bear keeping farmers & other home owners properties safe. They go by 717 Predator Control on Facebook. Lucas and his fiancée Bekka live a homestead lifestyle and wouldn't change it for the world. They plan to raise their children to enjoy nature and not be afraid to get their hands dirty. His hope is that others put down the screens and get outside fishing, talk around a campfire or even go for a walk. Get out and enjoy mother nature.

Episode 036: of the American Grown Podcast in the Colortech Creative Solutions studios with Greg Munnion Hybrid Athlete & Motivational Influencer. I've know Greg or as I like to call him Hollywood since 2010 during a football camp where I volunteered to help coach the younger athletes coming up through the program at Cedar Crest. He always struck me as a mature kid, someone that would put others before himself and motivated to be the best. But little did I know what battles he was facing at home. From a challenging up bringing Greg has turned his life into something he should be very proud of.

In this episode Hollywood talks about his moms struggle with alcohol and how he coped with the uncertainties at such a young age. Friends & coaches played a huge role in his life and he has a bond with his father that is unbreakable. From a rough childhood he tried the college route but quickly realized that was not for him. With the help of coach Tommy Smith's father Linker he landed a job with Cornwall borough. Hollywood pours what free time he has into fitness and has earned some partnerships with fitness brands such as Kane Shoes & Bare Performance Nutrition (BPN). This is truly a story about rising up and moving forward.
