In Part 2 of this series, Dr. Jiang Jie provides additional insights on how emergency departments and healthcare systems worldwide can coordinate care and plan for COVID-19 patient surges. Dr. Jie is an attending physician in the emergency department at Ruijin Hospital in Shanghai, on the faculty of Ruijin Simulation Center, and part of the regional faculty for AHA Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.
