Some might find it hard to believe, but Everton finally won a game of football, and did so in convincing fashion away from home! The 1-3 victory at Brentford is our first of the season and sees the Toffees to 15th in the table. Goals from Doucoure, Tarkowski, and DCL marked a superb team performance.
James and Ryan bring you full recap of all the main moments as well as a tactical breakdown of how Sean Dyche got the better of Thomas Frank. They discuss the decision to bring James Garner in for Danjuma, Dwight McNeil finding fitness and form, and the midfield trio's strong showing controlling the middle of the field.

The full power trio is here to bring you all action (or lack thereof) from a 1-0 loss vs. Arsenal at Goodison. While Everton have had considerable success against the Gunners at Goodison in recent times, it was not to be as Everton were outdone by a terrific goal by Leandro Trossard. The ATP gets into the central debate of the match as to whether or not the style of play is at fault or if it’s instead the individual performances. Alex, James, and Ryan also take a ton of listener comments and talk about a wide range of topics that eventually devolves into strange commentary on life in Colorado vs. Maine as well as the merit of Taco Bell, Rib-eyes, and authentic Mexican food.

In a choppy and uneven affair, the ATP brings you all the highs and lows of a 2-2 draw at Sheffield that brings the Toffee’s their first point and goals of the season. The Duo of Alex and Ryan get into the details in terms of the tactics and the big moments aided by a ton of listener comments. They also take a look at all the positional units now that the window is over and who we expect to come out of international break in the starting XI. They also give their thoughts on how much of Everton’s results are the fault of Sean Dyche and if he’s on the hotseat or not. Thanks again for your continued support!

The FULL ATP is back to bring our loyal listeners all the heartbreak of a decent Everton performance that resulted in a crushing late goal loss to Wolves at Goodison. Thankfully Alex, James, and Ryan are aided by a bunch of excellent listener comments as they attempt to balance out the feelings of panic and optimism throughout the episode. The power trio also talks about the MSP deal failure, the Impending arrival for Udinese CF Beto (Norberto), and break down the match in full tactical detail as usual. If you want balance and rational thought, the ATP does not disappoint this week.

Alex picked the right match to be on vacation as James and Ryan are left to try and make sense of a 4-0 drubbing by Aston Villa in Birmingham. A combination of individual mistakes and a tactical mismatch led to Unai Emery’s side embarrassing the Toffees in some almost hard-to-believe ways. The ATP breaks down the reasons for the one-sided affair as well as goes thru the individual mistakes that led to the goals and general poor play. The dynamic duo then talk through the glaring needs that remain in the side from our Team Assessment and whether or not we think Everton can address those needs by the end of the window.

The ATP and Everton kick off the PL season with a frustrating 1-0 loss vs. Fulham at Goodison. Hard to argue that Everton didn’t create a ton of chances but finishing problems continued from the usual suspects with a threadbare lineup albeit against a very vulnerable Fulham team. The full power trio is here to give you the tactical breakdown and some of the positives and negatives in a match where Everton seemed like they deserved a better result. Alex, James, and Ryan also walk through all the massive chances and a bunch of listener comments as well as talk about what this team could look like at the end of the window.

The summer may be approaching an end, kids may be going back to the school soon, but the ATP never stops. The whole trio comes to you with a special guest this week – with none other than Chicago’s own Tony Sampson to talk about the new North American Toffees Supporter Network membership package, Toffeefest, and sorts of goings on here in North America.
The full power trio then gets into all the latest news including a review of the Sporting CP friendly, a detailed breakdown of incoming CF Youssef Chermiti, some of the most recent transfer rumors, and what the impending changes to the Articles of Association for the Stadium company means.
