Dr. Marcus Witcher from Huntingdon College, author of Getting Right With Reagan, discusses the ideological crossroads America’s Right is at in 2020. They were asked about voting and the survey found the issues driving the decisions of 18-23 year old college students is generally very different than the motivations for voting decisions of other age groups. Venable explains the differences in the mindset and in how this voting block is getting their information.

Jonathan Williams, Chief Economist for the American Legislative Exchange Council, discusses the current debate over Covid19-related stimulus spending. Williams argues that any stimulus/relief funding should not be used to financially bail out states that have been irresponsible with their fiscal policies.

Virginia Walden Ford’s story was made into the motion picture, “Miss Virginia”. The film focused on her effort to move her son out of a dangerous and underperforming Washington, DC public school. She lobbied for a school choice program and become a prominent figure in the debate over the issues of education, choice, and public schools. Walden Ford relates her experiences and views to the current discussion over school choice, particularly since President Trump recently said in a speech that he supports the idea for all students.

The Institute For Free Speech’s Research Director, Scott Blackburn, talks about the recent news that Facebook and Twitter specifically suppressed the spread of a NY Post article about Joe and Hunter Biden. The conversation centers on freedom of speech and how it applies to the social media companies and their users.

Competitive Enterprise Institute Senior Fellow Joel Zinberg discusses his recent study on COVID vaccines and the percentage of Americans willing to take them right now. The conversation includes references to the scientific and political objections being raised and the debate over whether a vaccine should be made mandatory for anyone in the US, rather than just made available to everyone.
